Abstract

Turnover intention is the tendency or desire of an employee to leave their current job and seek employment elsewhere. The high turnover intention of teachers at Dewantara Vocational High School can be influenced by various factors such as work engagement and remuneration. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work engagement and remuneration on turnover intention through the mediation of job satisfaction. The research method used an associative quantitative approach. The population consisted of 40 teachers through a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through a pre-survey and a Google Form questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and path analysis with SPSS V26 application. The results of the study show that work engagement has a significant negative effect on turnover intention (t = -14.455 > t table 2.028), remuneration has a significant negative effect on turnover intention (t = -3.224 > t table 2.028), work engagement has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction (t = 4.983 > t table 2.026), remuneration has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction (t = 6.302 > t table 2.026), job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on turnover intention (t = 3.004 > t table 2.028), and job satisfaction cannot mediate the relationship between work engagement and remuneration on turnover intention.
